It's struck me that dad was blessed with wisdom when it came to making crucial choices. All those years ago, he chose to make mum his wife. That decision alone has blessed him phenomenally. God knew he would need someone to stand by his side through thick and thin, to be a true help meet so that they could raise his children in a manner that he desired and could be proud of. As Prov 31:23 suggested, dad was respected at the city gate. This because of his Proverbs 31 choice.
